Its unique alpine atmosphere and history make the Kehlstein one of the most
popular tourist destinations in our region. In order to fully appreciate the
background of the build of the Kehlsteinhaus or
Eagle’s Nest and the construction of its steep access road, a
visit to the Dokumentation Obersalzberg is highly recommended. This
exhibition details the history of this unique peak, especially during the
time of the Nazi Regime, both in a critical and illuminating way. |

mountain range, yet at the same time you are only a
10-minute walk away from the town centre of Berchtesgaden.
Our
grounds cover about 3000 square meters and offer plenty of
space for relaxing as well as action with a playhouse for
children and there are also facilities for badminton and
basketball. Car parking is available for our guests and a
garage can be booked on request.
Nearby you
can find the German centre for Nordic sports with its new
large ski jump, open and in use both in summer and winter.

Holidays in
3* and 4* comfort
All apartments are newly and comfortably furnished;
the living areas are carpeted while hallway, kitchen and
bathroom are tiled.
The apartments are all heated by electric storage
heaters.
The kitchen facilities include full-size cooker with
oven, microwave, extractor fan, fridge, dishwasher (in
apptm. 1,2,3,4 and 6) and sink as well as plenty of crockery
and cutlery. There is also a coffeemaker, toaster, vacuum
cleaner and separate portable radiator.
The living room is equipped with cable television.
Our beds are all full length at 2m and have got high quality
duvets, ergonomic pillows are available on request.
The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, sink and WC
and the hot water supply is provided via a boiler.

If you
wish, we can make your life on holiday even easier – you can
borrow a telephone, there is internet access; there is a
laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer; and
fresh bread and rolls can be delivered to your doorstep in
the morning. We offer a heated room for ski equipment and in
the winter a transfer service to and from the ski school in
Berchtesgaden is available.

Both in summer and winter Berchtesgaden offers you many opportunities to
pursue your sporting ambitions. In
the summer you can go hiking, mountain-biking, rafting, paragliding or
inline-skating as well as play golf do some kayaking. In the winter
there’s downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding and sledging; or
simply explore your favourite peak on ski. |
